I offer comprehensive interior design that makes a home functional, beautiful and suited to everyday life. My plans are based on creating a genuine atmosphere and a consistent aesthetic: the aim is a clear spatial layout, a unified palette of materials and an easy flow to everyday life. The service suits both properties for sale and the long-term development of a home.

Surface materials

I draw up the material choices and colour scheme for floor, wall and ceiling surfaces as a whole. The plan also covers interior doors, stairs, fireplaces and other fixed surfaces, so that all the elements work together visually and practically. The choices are based on durability, maintenance and the atmosphere of the space.

Textiles

I design curtains, rugs and soft furnishings so that they support the colour scheme and furnishing of the space and improve acoustics and comfort. The textile choices take into account light, privacy, washing and care needs, and the purpose of each room.

Loose furniture

The whole is completed by the design of the loose furniture and decorative elements: the proportions, placement, materials and colour coordination of the furniture. I design the furnishing to balance function and aesthetics, taking storage solutions and flexibility into account. I offer alternative furniture schemes for different budgets and, when needed, a shopping list or collaboration on the implementation.

How a project progresses

The work moves from a consultation visit to concrete proposals: an initial survey and measurements, moodboards, material choices and a furniture plan, and finally a set of implementation guidelines. I provide the material choices and shopping lists and, when needed, 3D visualisations.

I serve clients in the Helsinki metropolitan area and western Uusimaa. I also design projects in Spain.
