Visiting the website

The website has no forms, user accounts, comments, advertising or tracking of visitors. Visitor numbers are compiled into statistics without cookies (see Visitor statistics). The website does not set cookies or store any other information on your device. Fonts and images are loaded from this website, and the pages contain no embedded content from other services.

When you open a page, your browser sends the server technically necessary information, such as your IP address, browser details and the address of the page opened. The service provider used to host the website processes this information to deliver the pages and to ensure the service works properly and securely. The information is not used to identify or profile visitors.

The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest: delivering and protecting the website.

Visitor statistics

To develop the website, I use a cookieless visitor statistics service. When you open a page, your browser sends the service the address of the page opened, the page you came from, the type of browser and device, and information on how quickly the page loads. The service infers the country from the connection. The service does not set cookies, does not store information on your device and does not identify or track individual visitors. I only see aggregated statistics, such as page view counts and countries.

The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest: developing the website and following how the pages are used. You can object to the processing by blocking the website’s statistics script with your browser settings or a browser add-on.

Enquiries and assignments

When you contact me by e-mail, by phone or through social media, I process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details and the content of your message, so that I can reply to you and handle quotes, assignments and invoicing.

The legal basis for processing is the preparation and performance of a contract and the statutory obligations concerning accounting. Providing the information is voluntary, but without contact details I cannot reply to your enquiry.

Who the data is disclosed to

The data is not sold or disclosed to third parties. The data is processed on my behalf only by the service providers needed for hosting the website, visitor statistics, e-mail, telephone services and accounting.

Transfers outside the EU and EEA

The service providers used for hosting the website and for visitor statistics may also process the technical information described above outside the EU and EEA. In that case the transfer is based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or on another transfer mechanism in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

How long the data is kept

Technical information is kept only for as long as delivering the website and keeping it secure require. Visitor statistics are aggregated and contain no information from which an individual visitor could be identified. Enquiries are kept for as long as handling the matter and the customer relationship require. Accounting records are kept for the period required by the Accounting Act.

Links to other services

The pages contain links to Instagram and LinkedIn as well as share links. They are ordinary links: data is transferred to these services only when you click a link, and the privacy policy of that service then applies. A share link passes the address and title of the page being shared to the sharing service.

Your rights

You have the right to

• know whether your data is being processed, and to access it
• request the rectification of inaccurate data
• request the erasure of your data or the restriction of its processing
• object to processing based on legitimate interest
• receive the data you have provided yourself for transfer to another system, when the processing is based on a contract.
